Playing catch up here.
So a few weeks ago some of us went to the Israeli museum for a school assignment.
We were truly invigorated by the one piece of art work. Then we went to the archaeology exhibits. They were great and all buutt...
what we really loved was the Big Bamboo. Which is pretty much a huge tree house structure made out of bamboo. we climbed around it for quite a while.
We also took a trip to Bethlehem.
Inside the Church of the Nativity
The supposed spot where Christ was born.
The streets of Bethlehem. Everyone was frantically running around buying baby blankets but I went with something more practical, an ornament.
Then we went to the Tent Restaurant for dinner. This was just the appetizer.
Then we had a wonderful testimony meeting on the "shepherds fields" overlooking Bethlehem. We also sang Christmas hymns, so you know it was good.
also, happy Easter weekend everyone! It is so surreal being in Jerusalem this weekend, I can't think of a better place to be! Speaking of Easter...I wouldn't be mad if you all bought some Cadbury chocolate eggs and saved them for me. They are seasonal after all so I would hate to miss out on them this year ;)
